Painted Glass - Overview

Colour your world to reflect your personality and style

Painted Glass is a solid colour applied directly to toughened glass. The colour can be matt or metallic, and is suitable for clear, low iron or acid etched glass. The painted surface also cannot be scratched, nor will it loose colour through fading. Painted Glass avoids the build-up of dirt and grime, making it easy to clean. JELD-WEN Glass Australia are the only company in Australia that uses water-based paint, compared to enamel.

Not only is this technology a first in the Australian market, but when you combine this capability with an IGU or Custom Laminate the possibilities of where this can be used really are limited only by the imagination.

Perfect for all surfaces that require a tough, flat, high gloss finish, Painted Glass can be used anywhere that ceramic tiles can be used. Traditional applications include behind the cooktop in the kitchen, behind a vanity in the bathroom, or as walls of a shower. Latest trends have seen Painted Glass used to create a feature, such as in bedrooms, living areas and entrance halls - anywhere a solid colour decoration is required.
